Inspection

Inspections

There are multiple situations in which an Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) would be required by your county health department to be inspected by an approved inspector. Such situations could include, but may not be limited to:

    • The sale or transfer of a property

    • Additional bedrooms being added to a home

    • Connecting a mobile home or any other modular unit to an existing OWTS

Having an inspection performed cannot determine or guarantee how long a septic system will continue to operate. However, it will provide a snapshot at the time of the inspection that will show whether any components are in need of adjustment or replacement. The inspection will also determine whether or not the leach field is operating as intended or in a state of failure.

Here at Peak Septic Systems we are certified through the National Association of Wastewater Technicians (NAWT) and licensed to perform full, comprehensive Transfer of Title Inspections in Elbert, El Paso, and Tri County.

After an inspection has been completed by Peak Septic Systems an inspection report will be generated and submitted to your Health Department for your permit.
